Taylor's Industrial Coatings - Grit Blasting Image

Grit Blasting

Grit Blasting is the process for cleaning steel, stainless steel, aluminum, concrete and any other substrates to either achieve a surface anchor profile for applying coatings or just for general cleaning purposes and removing contaminants. Our different abrasives used for blasting include Black Beauty, Garnet, Aluminum Oxide, Walnut Shell, Glass beads, Steel Shot and many more.

Wet-Slurry Blasting

Also known as dustless blasting, wet-slurry blasting provides a dustless atmosphere with the aid of water and garnet blast media when dust is not an option in a particular work area.

Taylor's Industrial Coatings - Airless Spray Application(s) Image

Airless Spray Application(s)

A painting technique that simplifies the painting process. It is achieved by using a pump that sprays paint under a very high pressure (3000 psi) via a specialized hose and through a small hole know as a spray tip. Because the applicator has more control over the amount of product being applied, this technique gives a more uniform and quality paint finish to projects. It can also lower labor cost due to the amount of coverage obtained versus a standard brush and roller.

Metal & Concrete Painting

Painting is used to protect your assets. Over time all substrates are exposed to numerous elements that affect the life span of your asset such as: chemicals, gases, abrasives, moisture, UV rays, thermal shock and many more. In order to preserve the substrates of the asset, it is imperative to maintain a routine maintenance program to verify that the painted/lined surfaces are in good condition.

Vinyl Ester System

A vinyl ester resin is a thermoset matrix resin that is considered a hybrid of epoxy and polyester. It is a molecular change that consists of a few ester groups double-bonded to vinyl groups and are considered different from polyester in terms of the location of the reactive sites. Vinyl ester resin is produced by the esterification of epoxy resin and an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid and is most often used in transportation, building and infrastructure, military, energy and marine applications, like pipelines, composite products and storage tanks.

Industrial Flooring

Floor coatings are tough, protective layers used in applications where heavy surface wear or corrosion is expected. Typical applications include warehouses, chemical plants, and manufacturing floors. Floor coatings can also be used to brighten or define areas of facilities.
Taylor's Industrial Coatings - UHP Water Blasting Image

UHP Water Blasting

UHP Water Blasting is used for removing heavy corrosion and/or excessive coating thickness. Due to the cost associated with grit blasting, in some instances, it is more feasible to first use UHP water blasting to remove the corrosion/coatings and then perform the specified abrasive blast cleaning to achieve the recommended surface profile. We boast the ability to exert 4,000 PSI up to 40,000 PSI.
Taylor's Industrial Coatings - High Performance Lining Image

High Performance Lining

These types of lining are excellent for resisting chemicals, extreme high and low temperatures, thermal shock and abrasion. High performance linings are also exceptional for immersion services and are known to have low VOC’s and great flexibility characteristics.
Taylor's Industrial Coatings - Confined Space Image

Confined Space

A confined space is an area with limited entry and egress and is not suitable for human inhabitants, like the interior of a storage tank. However, with the latest safety equipment and tools and professionals who are trained annually in confined space work, we are able to execute all levels of projects in this area of expertise.
